Sales Executive - CAFM Software

Our client is a very successful and established supplier of software solutions to the property sector. Growth plans mean they have a requirement for a Sales Executive to join their new business sales team for CAFM applications. They require an enthusiastic and entrepreneurial individual, ideally with experience of selling new business software solutions into blue chip companies and the public sector at senior level. Any experience of working with CAFM, CMMS or facilities management software solutions such as QFM, Planet, Manhattan, Maximo, Tririga, Concept, Planon etc or property management systems such as Qube, Tramps, MRI, Horizon, o6ix, Bluebox, Propware, Yardi, Propman, gvas etc would be very advantageous, as would a sound understanding of the UK, European and global facilities management markets. The above criteria would be preferable although an experienced FM professional who would like to obtain a new business sales role would be considered. You will be responsible for selling a sophisticated facilities management software solution to real estate investors, developers, managers, owners, public sector and corporate occupiers, predominately in the UK but potentially worldwide. The role includes demonstrating the software to directors and end users, presenting company and solution benefits, representing the company at trade shows, controlling and managing leads, generating leads by market investigation and cold calling, responding to prospects RFIs, RFPs and ITTs and creation of client proposals, contracts and any further documentation. Candidates must be able to demonstrate enthusiasm, aptitude and ambition. Communication skills, influencing skills and a determination to succeed are a must. The sales function at our client has full support from an established marketing team and pre-sales consultants. Package depends upon skills and relevant experience and is up to £45k basic plus up to £25k on target uncapped commission and benefits.

This is a new role to take ownership of the development of web based functionality, which they are looking to expand to provide additional business process support for their customers. Experience of the property, real estate, facilities management or physical asset management industries is a requirement in a software solutions environment. Any experience of implementing property related applications including Manhattan, Tramps, 06ix, Yardi Voyager, Horizon, Qube, gvas, MRI, Propware etc. would be very relevant. In the role you will be responsible for implementing projects and provide strategic consulting services to new and existing clients. Additional responsibilities include providing a functional design service for reports, screens, menus etc, training and bespoke documentation. Growth plans mean they have a requirement for a Training Consultant to primarily train clients in the use of their software. Training will take the form of classroom style training and online/video e-learning training webinars. Training courses are delivered in-house and upon request at customer sites, regular travel and overnight stays are required. This role also encompasses other technical tasks such as report writing, SQL database administration and data conversions. A good technical all-rounder with training experience would be ideal. Good computer skills, knowledge of Microsoft products in a networked environment and lower level SQL Server (including scripting) skills are required whilst some experience with report writing (e.g. Crystal) and knowledge of the Facilities Management market or software would be very beneficial. Note that a full clean driving licence is required for this role which involves regular travel and overnight stays. Access to a reliable car with comprehensive insurance is also required.
